Wanganui - UCOL Library - there is a teaching area up on the second floor and I have participated in training session for the Certificate in Business Studies students. It is great that I am knowledgeable about Voyager [the Library software package which we also have in Canada!].

Wanganui - Inside UCOL Library - our library and our institution features alot about art and design and the entrance is no exception. If you had eagle eyes you would see the bouquet of flowers on the Circulation Desk. It is our summer and the flowers in the gardens are beautiful.

Wanganui - School of Nursing and side of library - another shot of the School of Nursing before a workman with a big orange chainsaw ruined "my picture" and the side of the Library that shows the lovely tropical landscaping.

Wanganui - Library entrance in the first picture. There is a handsome pillar of stone at the right side with a pond and a Maori saying over the doorway. The second building is the School of nursing complete with leaded glass windows and old wavy glass.

Wanganui - Admin buildings that were actually Arts and Crafts houses. Plans are underway to consolidate all departments in a new one building facility in 2008.

Wanganui - UCOL Library - that is Charlie the 14 year old cat. He has free run of the Library and the students and alumni love him. He has a slow growing cancer in his nose and it would pain him more to have it fussed with so the vet has decided just to let him enjoy life. Please notice the Maori carving on the front piece of the administrative area in the second picture.
